A statement piece doesn't have to dominate a room. Upholstered in GP & J Baker's Magnolia fabric, this Calder Stool brings together a richly detailed botanical pattern with a tailored skirt, adding colour and character while remaining a practical piece of furniture.
Magnolia's large-scale design combines pinks, greens, ochre and blue on a soft neutral ground, giving you plenty to work with when bringing together colours already used elsewhere in a room. Because of the scale of the pattern, the placement will vary from stool to stool, making each finished piece slightly different
The tailored skirt gives this version of the Calder a more structured, decorative finish, particularly suited to layered bedrooms and living spaces.
Made to order on a solid joiner-made frame, its compact proportions make it easy to place where a larger piece of furniture would feel cumbersome. Use it as an occasional seat beside a sofa or armchair, a bedroom or dressing table stool, or style it with a tray as a small upholstered side table.
